Bustorff Workshop: tradition and innovation

Bustorff Workshop is a company specialising in property construction and renovation, heritage conservation and restoration, as well as scenic construction and decorative painting. With a team composed of professionals connected to the Queen Dona Leonor Institute and the Ricardo do Espírito Santo Foundation, the company combines technical expertise with artistic sensitivity to deliver unique, high-quality solutions.

Over the years, we have been involved in projects of significant historical and cultural value, such as:

  • Jerónimos – Four Centuries of Painting (restoration of the royal collection)

  • Restoration of paintings at the Santa Casa da Misericórdia in Santarém

  • Restoration of 16th-century paintings at the Setúbal Museum for Expo '98 in Lisbon

  • Execution of mural paintings for Parc Astérix (Paris), the National Assembly of Angola, Arruda Church, and Arranhó Church

  • Restoration of historic pharmacies for the Pharmacy Museum in Lisbon and Porto

Our experience also extends to scenic construction, with contributions to major television and film projects, including:

  • The series Conta-me como foi (RTP) and Glória, the first Portuguese series on Netflix

  • The film Grand Tour (2024) by director Miguel Gomes, awarded Best Director at Cannes

In addition to heritage and scenic construction, we also undertake residential construction and rehabilitation projects, such as the recent development in the Ajuda district of Lisbon, designed by architect Joaquim Esquivel.

At Bustorff Workshop, tradition and innovation go hand in hand to transform ideas into spaces crafted with precision, care, and a refined sense of finish.

We work with the best clients and collaborators
